I am moving from CA to PA and have 3 cats. I will be taking a plane and wondering how they would get to PA? How much would it cost?

You can find airlines that will let your pet travel with you. I would be cautious of airlined that put your pet in an underneath compartment. I have not heard good things about this. You may want to talk to a vet about giving them something to sedate them since this will be a very stressful situation for them.

Welcome to PA!

You would have to use some kind of pet carrier, and they would be on the plane with you. They just would be in a different compartment. As far as cost, I am not sure, but you would probably be charged a fee for excess baggage.
Make sure you check with the airline, they might require proof of shots and stuff like that.

It looks like your being well informed where the Kitties will travel. All I can add is, my niece just flue back to Wisconsin from Texas with two cats, and it was rather pricey. I know it cost me quite a bit more than planned. Check around with the air lines before you commit. They can tell exactly what it will cost. Wish I would have.

They will travel in Cargo. You should get a Vari Kennel with metal bolts and wing nuts. If you plan to use your existing carrier and not buy new please visit this site for FREE safety tips on how to make pet carrier more air worth.

all you have to do is get a vet to put all their medical info on a piece of paper and put it on a AIRLINE CERTIFIED carrier. Then you have to buy the tickets.
