yes, they do for most. however, depending on your level of addiction, it may require you to go through treatment more than once. there are people that i know that have had to go through it 8 times before they finally kicked the habit. bottom line is not to give up. it takes will power and having loving and caring family members around to make quitting for good happen. if it does not succeed the first time, it does not mean that you will not be successful. alcoholism is tough but i have every reason to think that you can do it. just keep at it, you will be glad you did. i wish nothing but the best for you in the future. good luck.

Alcoholism treatment works for many people. But just like any chronic disease, there are varying levels of success when it comes to treatment. Some people stop drinking and remain sober. Others have long periods of sobriety with bouts of relapse. And still others cannot stop drinking for any length of time. With treatment, one thing is clear, however: the longer a person abstains from alcohol, the more likely he or she will be able to stay sober.

Yes, and No.Alcohol treatment is just the beginning. Most folks don't need it unless you are one of those who could have severe withdrawals. If that's the case, you will need medical attention due to the fact that you could die. Alcoholism is a lifetime thing. The only real treatment is AA. You cannot cure it, there is only recovery.

YES,
BUT if the person wants, means if the alcoholic wants to quit then only it works else it is a futile exercise. Hence the first step is " WILLINGNESS to QUIT"
rest of the treatment is support for tremors, sleeplessness and other withdrwal symptoms.
IT WORKS & only IF alcoholic WANTS.

to procure a aspect there. similar with cigarette taxes. that's a vicious circle. they don't ban them using taxes they carry jointly, yet allow you to comprehend to offer up. those taxes fund all those "supply up it" businesses and they're going to all be out of a job in case you do. Many cities and cities leap on the bandwagon hoping to characteristic a community tax to "sin" products to fund their budgets somewhat than raising sources taxes on actual each man or woman and hence do not antagonize their organic white constituants. I keep in mind figuring out to purchase cigarettes for my mom as a baby, at 14 cents a %.. Tobacco became between the yankee industries that equipped this united states of america, one in all our first exports too. They have not attacked AIDS sufferers tho, and ask for funds each of the time. the same does no longer practice to different vices.
