There is this guy that goes to the same gym as me wrote sent me a message saying it is really hard to talk at the gym and he always feels like he smells after working out. Over the weekend one of my guy friends said I completely missed what that comment meant. He said the guy left it open ended for me to suggest going somewhere else. Is this true? If it is, what do I do?

Does it really matter when you could be going to hell when you die. Shouldn't you worry about more important things like not sinning. Maybe you should turn your life to God and forget about your stupid sports issue. You seriously need some help. Join a rehabilitation clinic. Purify your soul if you have any hopes of eternal life.

Well your friend is right, he did leave it open-ended as for you to step in and suggest an alternate place - but I disagree that you "missed" it. It's not up to you to ask him out, that's his job. If he wants to see you, let him man-up and ask. But I'm curious as to why he sent you the message in the first place, had you tried to talk to him before that and he didn't respond well? If so he may have sent you that message as way of an explanation of his actions and not necessarily as an open invitation - though my gut says it was the first scenario.

it could mean one of two things. One he is trying to find an excuss not to talk to you, or two he want to talk to you just is very selfconscious at the gym for obvious reasons.

Best suggestion, if he has initiated the conversatiosn in the past it mean he wants to continue with the conversations. He is probably afraid to ask you out so why don't you ask him out. Many guys find it attractive when girls ask them out and pursue them.

If you are always the one goign up to him and initiating things give him some space.

That's a potential...but the guy shouldn't have let it hang like that. The next time you chat with him, ask him if he'd like to go to get something to drink after the gym (and after you've both showered). Go to a juice bar together and strike up a conversation!

Yeah pretty much. He was saying that because he's a little shy and doesn't know if you dig him or not -- so he left it up to you to ask him out to get to know eachother better without having to look all gross and sweaty.
