I think its okay to have a boyfriend or girlfriend -- it helps build those kind of social skills but I do not believe that they should have a sexual relationship or anything I think kids should wait until they are mature enough to handle the consequences.

Holding hands, hugging, and talking on the phone at those ages are good enough if you think about it the way girls and boys act at that age -- they go through bf/gf's like water.

i think it depends on the person cause I've known some 14 year old who act like their 20 but than again i know some that act like their 5. as far as how far you should be able to go i think you should be at least 17 but the two high schools i went to some/ alot of the girls were loosing their virginity's when they were freshman which would be 14-15 be responsibly if you guys want to do it, find a walk in clinic and get some free condoms and look into a depo shot/birth control pills this are all free and the doctors cant call your family.
if you think about 170 years ago kids were getting married at this age, allow the life expectancy wasn't all that high in the first place.
in the end its your guys choice

I think it's ok to date when you're that young, but go light on the touchy feely stuff. I mean, when I was that young, I was still playing with Barbies, so what do I know? I mean I had a few boyfriends here and there. But seriously, you should be smart and responsible with issues like that. I am 23 now, and I can tell you that I feel good about the fact that I waited until I was a little older to do "stuff" with boys. You should focus on other things in life at that age.

I think 14 year olds should be allowed to go out in groups but not one on one. They also must remain in town unless it is a chaperoned trip that the parents can feel comfortable with. Real dating begins at 16 and rules will be set by how responsible the 16 year old is.

I think to say one has a boyfriend or girlfriend, is fine at 14. How far should they go....hold hands maybe a quick peck on the cheek to say goodbye with a hug. To get too involved at a young age could be risky. This age group is still learning so much about themselves it isn't wise to say they know someone well enough to have a serious romantic involvment, how do you know someone so well when you haven't even learned who you are yet. I think its possible that one can love another at this young of an age, however to be in love is so in depth. To be physically and romantically involved one should know what it is to be in love so there for as one gets older and learns more about themselves they will also learn to respect themselves and be more capable of giving true love.

NO< NO< NO>>>
They should be able to go to the library, grocery store, skating rink. that's it..
None of my children dated till 16, and double dated or in groups.
They are married now, have families and very successful..
They were taught to respect themselves and others.. and that meant physically. Sex isn't a prize to win, but a life long commitment shared to bond two people together..
Too many people think nothing of it.
Having Sex has become more a locker room at- a- boy attitude, and then ask those with STD's how they felt getting.
or, those who became pregnant so young what value to their life of freedoms lost it gave..
You and others have plenty of time to get older and do adult things.. this is the time to enjoy the freedoms of youth..
freedom does have a price, at any age. Responsible / respectful choices..and maturity comes in knowing those choices are without harm to you or another potentially..
good luck..

14 year olds should be able to date, but with supervisor. I think if they do anything other than kissing or a little touching it is toooo far!! I don't think 14 year old kids know the what can happen to their life if a baby should appear due to being young and exploring.

well 13 year old should only be holding hands, when your at the age of 15 you are wanting that kiss on the lips and tongue in the month your first makeout puppy love, but for a 13 year old holding hands and maybe a lil peck on the cheek dont go any farther than that, your way too young to experence the kiss on the month the tongue in the mouth wait till your ready

Yeah it is ok. I don't think teens 13-15 shouldn't go to far. But in their relationship they can do what they want.

Yes. Kissing on the lips, french kissing, laying on top of each other with clothes on and petting out side the clothes. No under the clothes petting until 15 and not much then. Maybe by 16 get to second base. Save third base until 18, but only within long term relationships that are seriously considering marriage soon with each other. Don't go all the way until marriage.
