Well, free and good are probably mutually exclusive. Certainly making freinds locally might be a better choice (and safer). Instead of bars or clubs, try to join a community group or volunteer somewhere. Not only will you be helping out, but you may find a guy with a genuine heart.

Not really a big fan of internet dating... works for some, but personally I prefer to actually meet people and get to know them, not who they prentend to be behing a screen on a computor. However I do wish you luck!

I dont know of any that is completely free. friendfinder.com is good but you have to have a paid membership to email people

online dating, i think, is for people who don't have lives. they don't leave the house to find real dates, so they go on the internet to find people who are lying about themselves to get a date. so lame. go out and find someone real. online dating does not lead to "true love".
