I also need to spend allot more money on me than my husband does on him from clothes to creams and make up so yeah boys are cheaper definatly :)

definately girls are cheaper i have both and the girls are happy with make up clothes etc as for the boys they want all the latest hi tech equipment and xbox games anything that is coming out they want, (they dont get all of it by the way) girls are much more satisfied with the less costlier things in life.and are happy to keep their old bike till they are truly too large for it, and they are happier to accept seconds from family and friends they are actually excited when they get a bag of stuff whether its clothes or toys, boys point blank refuse to wear anything that someonelse has worn and they are not interested in toys or games unless they are new . thats an opinion shared with a few people i know . is this enough.Oh yeah and birthday parties --girls are happy to have girly sleepovers and movies. which costs very little or a couple of freinds to cinema etc Boys and i love them dearly want go-karting shooting parties like lazer quest etc they all cost a small fortune even with one or two friends. hope this is enough.Im exhausted now i have to lie down thinking about all the money i have spent hee hee.

it's a toss up. I guess at the younger ages boys are cheaper becasue they don't use too much water or soap in the shower becasue they don't like to be in there for longer than 2 minutes! Boys clothes are cheaper and at younger ages (elementary and junior high) boys aren't so picky. My 4th grader doesn't mind Target cothes but my 5th grade niece wouldn't be caught dead in them.
Then come the teenage years. They both get expensive. If you let your son date he may be more expensive becasue he could easily spend $50 taking a girl to eat pizza and to the movies... Thankfully mine are 9 and 1 now but I guess I have money problems to look forward to.

They're equal. We have two boys and two girls. You need just as many clothes for both; what girls do in sports (even gymnastics, cheer) equals out to what boys sports equiptment costs. Boys might eat more in their teen years- I have a 16 year old that could eat me out of house and home but his 12 year old sister doesn't lag that far behind. Growth spurts, both sexes; school supplies, equal. Really, they are the same.

well that all depends, which do you have more of within your family? Do you/your relatives have boys or girls? Because you can get hand-me-downs from others and that will make things a lot cheaper! lol
