Are you kidding me? $100 on a trial run? What region are you from?

I would highly suggest a trial run. I'd hate to see you on your wedding day and not like your hair. That day is already going to be chaotic enough for you. At least with the trial run you know you're going to have something you'll like.

Can you talk to your stylist to see if you can get a discount since they're going to do the updo?

Is this a stylist you've been going to for a very long time? If not, I'd shop around.

Good luck!!!

I think it's generally worth it when you're having a hard time determining how or if it will work with your veil or choosing an up do or other do and wearing it with your dress. However, I don't think it's worth paying $100 pe pop....try having a girlfriend or family member helping you out for your "trial runs"....you also may try a different salon....I know some places around where I live will charge around $25-$40 to just style your hair for a day...even if you don't intend to let them do your hair for your wedding day, if you take a picture you should still get similar results and you don't even have to tell them what it's for. Another option is talk to the salon where you are having your hair done and ask them if they can give you a substantial discount for "trial runs" especially if more than one person in your wedding party is having their hair done there! I paid $30 to have my hair done for a wedding in which I was a bridesmaid...and becuase all the bridemaid had their hair done, the bride had to trial runs prior to the wedding day for free!

Do the trial run. It lets you see what ideas you had for you hair on that big day! This way, if you like it, your hair stylist already knows what to do and if you dont like it, you can change it! It wouldnt be a good thing to find out the day of that your ideal hair style doesnt work for your face shape or that you absoultely hate it! (Check out youtube.com and type in "wig out" or "psycho bride"....she didnt do a trial run and she cut alllll her hair off 1 hour before the wedding!!! eekkk! We dont want a second occurance of this!)

I would..My mom just did it for her wedding, and she really liked it...It give you the opportunity to experiment with different hair styles and its kinda neat with the things people can come up with these days...I would do it, even if you end up getting nothing out of it, you never know, you might find the perfect hair style!

Money well spent. You will know if you do or do not like it and adjustments can be made the day of wedding.
