Wilson's disease causes copper to accumulate in the body and eventually causes damage to the kidney, brain and eyes. Liver disease will eventually result. Sorry, I wish I knew more about this. It is such a rare disorder.

Wilson's disease is thought to be a thyroid related problem, where the person feels better taking T3. I have put a link below about it.
