hey, well im in highschool, and i have a new kid that goes to my school, and he is really nice...but not really my type. anyways... for some reason he keeps telling everyone we are boyfriend / girlfriend... and he comes up to me and hugs me and stuff. i have told him many times that we are not dating, and we are just friends... but he keeps it up! he is acting like we are in middle school. =P what should i do?

Get a really good guy friend of yours, and pretend you and the other guy are dating. Walk around holding his hand then be like "sorry, imagination relationships really don't do it for me" give it a week or two, he'll grow up. If not tell him you wouldn't date someone who believes in pretend things

There is a tactful way of doing things. I did think the kick him in the balls was funny comment! I would not allow him to hug you and tell him if he keeps saying those types of things that you will no longer be friends with him. There is no need to be mean with him and if he keeps it up then cut him off and just don't talk to him.

One day during school, while everyone is like in the hallway or something, or while everyone is watching, make like a really loud announcement that your "dumping" him so that everyone knows that you guys are not going out anymore and most likely he'll stop "pretending" to be your man.

I f you don't like it then tell him to stop and make sure you tell him with witnesses around. Then report it to your school principal or guidance councillors. If it happens again let them know! This could get ugly if he persists so stop it in the begining.
Now, if you like it then date him and have fun!!

Well if you truely don't like him tell him. If he continues after this, when he goes to hug you push him into a garbage cans and Tell HIM to piss off

well not that I go to your school, but you know that big assembly on friday go down to center court, and invite him down, and with the whole school watching, mace him. That's what I did. The principal gave me a high five.

are you flirting with him or laughing with him while you're telling him this?
sounds like he doesn't believe you or thinks that he will get you eventually. pull him aside and have a serious talk with him. if that doesn't work out then stop talking to him at all, and figure out if it's even worth it to be his friend..
