My tv is downstairs from my treadmill in the loft. I am thinking there is a wireless headphone thing? Any ideas?

Yes there are wireless head phones, you can get them at bes buy or any other electronics store. They work great!

Why would you want to "listen" to the TV. As Peter Griffin (Family Guy) once said after he ran into the Cable transmitter and knocked out cable TV, "Without seeing the picture, it's just radio". Love that show. Anyhoo, just get a pair of wireless radio headphones OR get a small TV for your loft.

Yes, there are wireless headphones on the market. Check out your electronics store. Best Buy or Circuit City would have them.

Actually Recoton (among others) makes a relatively inexpensive 900 mz (gz?) wireless head phone system that may work. It depends on the output capabilities your tv has. If your tv runs through a stereo system, I know it will work, but if it has RCA type outputs it also should work.
I've used mine for years, even work when I am mowing the yard. Of course, I use them for music, not tv.
