We have 3 cats and one of them thinks he is a dog.
I do not know if it is jealousy or if they just want the attention while the other is getting it just to piss the other one off.

Yes, they do.
We have a Cat who had a litter five months ago. And just last week she gave birth to a new litter, and all the older kittens look at them and go away like all sad. One of the kittens likes to hiss at the newborns.
Cats are very territorial. But there are ways to help them get along. Like setting a border for each cat, and having them do things together, although there's a border. It helps them see each other, and get used to each other and eventually they learn to love each other.

depends a lot on the cat. if it were a dog i would say hell yes but since most cats are solitary creatures it really depends. i would ask how much time do you spend with it and does it greet you when you get to the door cause if it doesn then it probably does because those are more doglike characteristics

Yes! My cat used to belong to my parents, who had two other cats. When we got them, one of them took to my mom and would follow her EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME when she was home and was always on her lap when my mom sat down. The older cat, who was used to all of the attention, was noticeably jealous. He didn't tolerate the other cat and would leave the room when she laid by my mom.

Yes they do, expecially when you give one pet more attention than another. I know this because my cat, always gets very mad, and jealous towards my dog. She won't stop meowing till the attention is back on her.
