In your experience, how long after you start dating someone before you get over the happy, blissful phase where everything is perfect and nothing goes wrong and your perfectly content doing nothing more than simply being with the other person?
I'm in a relationship right now for almost three months, and everything just feels so good and right and happy, like described above.
But I've also been in relationships where I felt this way, then it wore off and the person turned out to be not that great.

I've been with my current boyfriend for about 2 1/2 years. Our "honeymoon" phase wore off after about a year or so, and we get into our share of arguments, but I still feel the same as I did for him when we first started dating. Sometimes I wish that I could go back to that blissful stage, but we know so much about each other at this point and we love and trust each other so much, that I think being with someone for a while (as long as they don't turn out to be 'not that great') is better.

Well, the honeymoon period for me and my g/f lasted about 2 months...we can still just be together without saying anything and it's great...but as the relationship goes along and you keep getting to know the person...problems will definately arise...we fight a good amount now about stupid ****. Basically, when it's just you two...it'll be like the honeymoon, but the slightest thing can disrupt it and cause a fight...when that starts to become a commonplace thing, you know the honeymoon is over

I've only ever had one boyfriend, and that enjoyable stage lasted about a month, maybe a month and a half. But after that he started grabbing at my chest when I was sleeping, so that killed it
