sigmoidoscopy exam today one polyp found?

if biopesy is positive then colonscopy next.question what if there was no polyps found with first text?are polyps more common in the first few ft. of intestin?seems too me preson needs a colonscopy too check whole intestine especially if nothing was found with the first test.god i hope this makes since.thankyou

Single solitary polyp are more common in Colon then multiple polyps in small intestine also know as multiple polyposis so stop worrying.Have it removed at the earliest.
