I understand that if it is 98º outside, then an egg will cook on the sidewalk. That's the same temperature as inside of your body! So, is it possible to scramble eggs inside of your body?

The question is yes (technically)

Not due to temperature though

You see what cooking actually does is degrade the protein in the egg (albumin) which is called denaturing the protein. Many things can do this

-heat
-pH level
basically anything that causes the amino acids in the protein to lose their bonds to each other

so that if the protein was not digested anyhow (due to an enzyme in your stomache as well as from the pancreas), then the pH level in the stomach would got to work at denaturing the protein in the egg, changing it in a similar way to cooking it.

*note*
Might not want to eat raw eggs anyhow, as the toxins made by bateria (such as botulism toxin) are very resistant to denaturation due to the number of di-sulphide linkages (very strong bonds between amino acids)

I like the last dude's comments about the folks saying you can't eat raw meat and eggs are idiots *LOL*

Anyway, there are some conditions in which an egg will scramble inside the human body. Most have to do with the human eating the raw egg and then quickly putting human inside one of those huge industrial microwaves, or in front of many of today's miliatry weapons.

Perhaps obviously, this kind of intestinal egg scrambling is typically not the best way to scramble an egg, as unfortunately the human is also typically scrambled.

However, never say never...if you want to do ANYTHING bad enough, of course there is a way to do it.

just because it's 98 outside doesn't mean the sidewalk is 98. You need to take into consideration that the sun beating down on the side walk will make the temp go above 120 depending on how long it's been sunny, how much wind, etc...

the sidewalk on a 98 degree day is considerably hotter than 98, therefore frying the egg, maybe. if you touch the frying pan does it not burn you? the egg would not cook inside your body.

lol, of course not, well, as some people said it is possible on some conditions, but just normally, no. Once the egg gets down to your digestive place it will disinagrate as other things do, or, if it digests slowly it would still be mixed with other things.

Ever walk barefoot on the sidewalk on a hot sunny day - it will burn your 98 degree feet.
