This question is directed at those (on both sides of the aisle) who argue that we need illegal immigrants' cheap labor to keep prices on many goods and services down. Isn't that how the Confederacy argued the necessity of slavery? How can you justify the oppression of people for economic gain?

First of all I am a Christian. I am not a wimp Christian nor do I believe in always turning the other cheek. In other words I am not perfect and really I am glad I am not. Most of the illegals in the USA are brown skin natives from South America. They are hated by white people on both sides of the border. Therefore it is my Christian belief to offer humane support for these people. Not excuses as some white Americans and white Mexicans are doing.

Most pro supporters have a vested interest in the illegal alien.Such as a spouse, parent, siblings ,friends lovers etc. So they have a reason to support them .Then there are the knee jerk, bleeding heart, liberals that want to atone for some injustice, real or imagined, that was done years before they were even born. They carry a misplaced sense of personal guilt.
Big business wants non complaining ,low paid
people to work in unsafe conditions that cant report mistreatment to anyone.
There are more and varied reasons but this is a few of the reason people support law breakers.

Illegal immigration supporters are either big corporations who benefit from their cheap labor, those who are spouses, friends or relatives of illegals and have a personal interest in them staying in the US, or bleeding heart liberals who feel guilty for the sins of our fathers and believe that we are obligated to "make it up to them".

good for what economy? when i go to the grocery store. i have noticed the first 3 weeks of the month everything in produce and meats are up . i don't live off the govt. i work for my money and i have to buy food for my kids to eat. a pack of pork chops is $15.00. a pack of hamburger meat is $10.00 to $12.00. nothing is coming down. as long as they (illegals) are allowed to be here everything will be high for us. I'm concerned for the elderly who is on a fixed income who can't hardly afford to get their meds let alone food. something must change. our children's education is starting to suffer. our schools are being considered 3rd world education. i don't think Americans kids should suffer because illegals in the school system can't understand English and need special help. we should not learn their language. they need to learn ours.hospitals are closing down because they don't pay their bill. Americans are taken to court and hounded for money owed.
