I don't think so. If he even tried, he would probably kill off his own party. Nobody wants to fight in Iraq.I think we would have draft riots if they did it for real.

Its amazing how many people are out of touch with reality. President Bush isn't the one talking about a draft. This is in an idea that's been shoved down our throats by liberals and mainstream media. And you people are buying into it. Want proof?

Stop buying into propoganda and think for yourselves. There is only one bill in Congress that even talks about a draft...and it was introduced by a democrat.

If a draft was introduced today there would be mass uprising. So many people would not even go. No, Bush would not do a draft. But he does already has a "backdoor" draft. Its called stoploss. Look it up. You can keep members of the military on active duty even after there term has been served. Also there is IRR for the military. EVERYONE who signs up for the military does an 8 year obligation, its just that not everyone knows that. Read up on stoploss and IRR, theres Bush's backdoor draft.

Yes, it was introduced by a democrat, but Democrats didn't support it either. The vote was 402 yeas to 2 nays in the House. So it is inaccurate to staple the idea of reinstating the draft to an all-Democrat idea. Completely wrong

Bush will seriously NOT do a draft.

Just in case you wondered. The draft has been proposed and I guess if you had 2 gray cells that came in contact with each other...you would know the idea was floated by Charlie Rangel...DEMOCRAT Congressman of New York.

Ever had a COGENT thought in your life???

If we were to invade Iran on a full scale, not just tactical operations say to rescue those britions there, then YES he would HAVE to i mean we got the most advance army in the world but how far can u really stretch it when we have to protect our own country as well,My suggestion is vote for Bill Richardson he is a smart guy and will lead this country gracfully he already has a plan for a global healh care package(NOBODY has even thought of that)

Nope. Congress will never approve a draft; it's political suicide as world events are today, assuming you understand that "Bush" can't DO a draft.

There's no need for one. However, if Americans keep sending a message that we don't support them, they'll get out, and we will have to start a draft.

They're volunteers.
