My first love? its been 2 years and still cant get over it.

my 1st ex took a long time to get over me, much more than 2 yrs. eventhought i moved on, but he still calls me to see how i was doing. he even had a picture of me in his room and all the gifts i gave him. he finally got over me when he got married. i know it's hard to get over someone and the memories stays with you forever. but you have to remember that your ex gf have moved on, and you need to learn to let go and move on too and keep the memories as a learning experience. if you still keep in touch w/ her... you can always see if she's single... if she is, you can ask her out and tell her your feelings and maybe she'll give you another chance. but meanwhile, you got to enjoy life. you got to date other people and see what's out there. maybe you'll fine a cutie that fits you perfectly and then you'll wonder why u wasted so much time thinking about your ex. sometimes having a new relationship will make getting over your ex easier. so, spend some time finding someone you're interested in and start dating again and let bye gone be bye gone. good luck.

I'm sorry to say this but it takes a long time before you'll be able to completely get over your first true love!! They were the first one there, the first one to help you completely open up .. it will definitely take longer than 2 years to get over her!! I've been apart from my first love for nearly 4 years now and I'll admit i'm still not completely moved on!!
It'll be tough, but when you find someone else whom you can grow closer with you'll start healing. It'll go away eventually, I promise!! You just gotta keep your eyes open and you're heart alert!!

Wow 2 yrs do you still keep in contact with her or still see her, if so then Bingo!! there's your problem right there some people find it hard to get over someone that was there first love and someone that they still talk to and see from time to time. The Best Advice I can give you is to Cut off all ties with her and distance yourself from her until you feel in your heart that your over her and also try to keep busy hang with your friends and always stay active and busy so you won't think about her. that helps
