Because there's no proof. How else COULD they believe?

As humans, we tend to draw certain conclusions based on cirtain things. For example, a mouse trap is pretty simple, but it has parts that are organized to perform a specific function. So, based on that information, I reasonably conclude that someone designed and put the mouse trap together. A watch is more complex, but again, there are parts that are organized with purpose to perform a specific function. I conclude that there is a watch maker who designed and made the watch. It is reasonable to think also that the designer of the mouse trap was perhaps not as advanced as the watchmaker.
I have never seen the maker of the mouse trap. Is it unreasonable to think there is one? Or does it make more sense to you to believe that the mouse trap just happened all by itself?? I have never seen the watch maker. Would you say that I have blind faith that one exists?
Look at a living cell. The complexity of the organization of purposeful parts all performing very specific functions - it is mind numbingly more complex than a mouse trap or a watch. So, I reasonably conclude that someone far more advanced designed and made the cell and set it's parts in motion. Add to that, the complexity of ocean currents, the precision of the solar system, within the galaxy, within the universe... Or the built in instinct that tells a little bird how to migrate to the precice location that it's ancestors did- without it ever having been there before and without being shown by another bird...
Why do you imagine that believing in God is based on faith? Or that concluding that God exists is any less reasonable than concluding that the watchmaker exists?
I know there is a designer and maker of all things because we are here as evidence of his work.... That is not blind faith, that is logic.

When you are told about God and Jesus from the day you are born, faith is not so blind. It's all you know. It's what your parents, the people you trust more than anything in the world, told you was true. More than likely, you went to church with kids that believed the exact same thing as you. How can God be fake when everyone you know says that God is real?
To accept that Christianity (and any other religion that worships a Deity) is a lie, is quite a scary prospect. Which is why I'm here to help.

People who believe in God cannot do so blindly, when a person has true faith, and walks in faith their eyes are opened, there is then no doubt that there is a God. it is an experience that many Christians have, you realise that you are not alone. When the seed is sown in a person the Lord gives the increase, it is God who chooses because many are called but few are chosen. The Lord God is only a prayer away.

Pass, I don't know but I do know some very intelligent people (yes, including myself) who also believe in God. These include my brother in law who is a PhD. There's several other teachers, professors, scientists, doctors etc. Very learned people.
I'm 'just' a carer but I'm an armchair scientist and look into things from a most logical viewpoint.
The Earth spins at a most precise distance from the sun. By universal terms the precision is almost pinpoint. It is our proximity to our local star that allows life to exist here. We haven't found life anywhere else; which isn't to say that it doesn't exist, just that we haven't found it yet, so at the moment, we can theorise that life is possibly unique to our planet. Can we attribute an intelligence behind life on Earth? I can't prove it conclusively either way but to me, it looks that way.

Christians don't always "blindly" believe in God. I think that many believe that the unknown structure on Mt. Ararat somewhere in the middle east is the Ark that Noah built to survive 40 days and nights of flood. There have been radar scans that show that a structure is on that mountain. If the people of that area would allow someone to search that area, then it would be undisputable proof that the Bible, or at least the story of the Great Flood, was true.

Most people tend not to believe 'blindly' but have made up their minds after considering the options, reading, praying and looking at the evidence eg creation.
Whereas a lot of people believe in science without researching it themselves, hence they are the blind believers, as they dont have any real knowledge or learning to prove or disprove it for themselves.

I don't know anyone who "blindly" believes in God. I believe in God because I find it easier than believing the world was created by a series of crazy coincidences.

When the minister of the man of the [true] God rose early to get up, and went out, why, there a military force was surrounding the city with horses and war chariots. At once his attendant said to him: “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” But he said: “Do not be afraid, for there are more who are with us than those who are with them.” And Elisha began to pray and say: “O Jehovah, open his eyes, please, that he may see.” Immediately Jehovah opened the attendant’s eyes, so that he saw; and, look! the mountainous region was full of horses and war chariots of fire all around Elisha. -2Kings 6:15-17
There are several different types of blindness. The fact that some see what you can not does not make them blind. Perhaps with humble prayer, God will also open your eyes to see what is very clear to others.

I dont believe blindly in God, but I do believe that anyone who doesnt must be blind!
Look at the animals that can hide using their camofladge..do u think that they created it themselves... We living beings reproduce..How ...the mother doesnt have to create a baby..She is literally given one! How is that possible...If a person can do something as big as that on its own..then try producing ONE SINGLE hair on ur body..Dont u get it!!
How come there is oxygen in this atmosphere and all theright conditions for humans to survive..Who tells the smallest particle in matter to do what it does..It surely is commanded to behave in sucha manner ie to stich with other particles and then form bigger molucles and the molecules form humans...Do u think all this is an effect of proper conditions for survivla on earth whose consequence is Living beings!! NO. It is God which has created all and everything in such proportion whose probability of occurence is "0". The cause is Gods will to create and the effect is what we see.. Who controls ur body when u sleep? Do u do it urself...Its really really hard infact impossible for me to believe God doesnt exsist and I dont want to act blindly once I can see (All praises to Allah (the one and only God)).
