Iran troops captured english sailors for "sailing on their land." da UK could get pretty ticked off and go to war. It wouldn't be too much of a war, but because it would suck china and russia into Iran's side, thast would escalate into a bigger Eurasian conflict. Because of our NATO alliance with england, we would be part of it too. Then, more NATO countries will join, and Chinese and Russian allies will join, which will put like, the top 10 military powers on one battlefield. That might bring the soldier population down so much, that when I become 18, I might be drafted into the army which I DO NOT WANT TO BE IN!!!!!!!!!! Plus, this morning, we commenced a show-of-troops in the Persian Gulf to scare Iran, which is technically useless, and somewhat a bad thing, seeing as Iran's allies, Russia and china will take that as a threat and NUKE THE GULF, thus beginning a conflict. This really SUCKS!

Not happening. This same thing happened before you were born and Jimmy CArter was president and we actually launched an attack on Iran to get our hostages back that failed; and there was no war then.

Bollocks. We've got no intention of starting a war with Iran. We're using diplomacy to get our troops back. That way, nobody gets killed, British or Iranian. There's no way China or Russia would go to war with the UK over Iran. Iran pulled the same exact stunt in 2004. We got our soldiers back in THREE DAYS. Granted, this time it's taking longer, but nukes won't be flying anytime soon.

it wont happen.
either way i dont think russia would join iran. despite any alliance they may have, they would realize that going up against the U.S is just stupid, not to mention we'd have britain and france on our side. We have just as many nukes as them, and our military is better trained. Compared to China, well our army is still better trained even though it may be outnumbered. The U.S itself could take on China or Russia, and with Britain and France we'd definitely win. Russia and China would realize this and wouldnt come into the war even IF a war even started.

I would take a deep breath and calm down.
I want to remind you that being a US citizen has so many great benefits but if the draft or your service is need you should serve. I would hope that you would want the next generation and so on to live like you did and that may require a huge sacrifice on your part and many others.
If your a minor i wouldn't even sweat it.
Just live and have a good time.
