There is a gal at work that I find interesting, I have spoken to her off and on, not too long of conversation though. We don't work in the same department, so that doesn't help. I really want to ask her out to lunch, just to get to know her a little bit, but I cannot find the right time, and I also sometimes have trouble finding the right topic of conversation.

Can you help me out? Have you been in this situation before?

All help is very much appreciated.

You'd be suprised to know, she probably feels the same way. Girls often hope that the guy will come over to her and ask her out. I've always liked when a guy just took a giant leap and asked me out. Next time you get a chance to bump into, or "accidently" bump into her, ask her if she would be interested in going for a bite to eat. Chances are she's been waiting for you to ask her and she will love to. If not, then you know how she feels and you can move on and won't have to keep worrying about asking her out. Great conversation topics could be sports or even bring up a movie you just saw recently, this will give you an idea of what she is into. Good luck!

just think of it that way.. if you dont do it soon; either somebody else will; and you will hate yourself forever! or she will get another job or something...just go and tall her..you sound like you are pretty shy! use that! if she might ever be interrested in you in any ways she will find the fact that you are babbling cute i assure you... just go and do it..tomorrow! go to work and tell her you want to take her out...thats if you are not already in the friend zone....
