Freedom of religion includes freedom from religion as well. Schools do not promote an Atheist agenda; they promote a secular agenda. There is a strong difference, if you look at the two beyond face value.
It is very important that Christianity is taught about, as the religion has been an affector of history, especially in Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas; to a lesser extent, it is still influential in today's world. Ditto for every other religious system that somehow influenced, or still influences, any other part of the world.

I wouldn't want in the public school system to teach "Christian morals" I believe there doing fine the way there teaching tin the scientific method without having a bias. Also why does it have to be christian morals- there are already schools for that subject, why not pagans or buddhist- something earth centered?

If it's a private xtian school, go for it...but if it's public, the kids wont have much time to learn anything because they'll have a lot of "appreciation" months to cover all the religions represented in America...

Absolutely not. That is just assuming all children and people have the same Christian beliefs and they don't, and therefore wishing to force them upon others.
I don't know what kind of God you believe in, but the one I believe in wouldn't want such a thing.
Good Christian moral values would be for you to leave peoples opinions alone and respect them for their wishes and who they are.

I am Christian but think that your idea is crazy.
If you want to teach your child religious values do it at home.
Also, I think that evolution, along with creationism, are theories...so either can be believed and not be "nonsense".

I don't have a problem with it. Provided the next month is about Islam, and the month after that Buddhism, and the month after that Secular Humanism etc etc etc.
How would YOU feel about that?
