There is a guy at church and he is a godley man and I like him (he knows I like him) and I can't / don't want to date untel I'm 18. I just want to show him who I am, be friends. something. I'm kinda shy I'm only 14 now so I have 4 more years. When we play a tag I never go get him I don't want to look obsessted with him. All the girls know I like him. and I'm sure all the boy's know I like him. I would be fround
:( apoun if we started dateing. and my sisters are around all the time so if I talked with him thay weould see me talking with him and would never drop it. not that thay like him. and if I pull him aside pepole will se that and ask what I just did.

Lauren, I am glad to hear, that you do not want to date, or can not date. At 14 you should be with friends of the same age, join in group activities, and enjoy being a young teen. You did not say how old this guy is, and if he is older than you, then I personally would not pursue ANY type of contact. Four years is a long time to consider any prospect for dating. Go enjoy yourself with your friends,have fun, and when the right guy comes along(in a few years) then think about the dating game.

Who is this "godley man" when he is around your age? 14? 14 is very young, when I was 14 I liked many girls that now I look back regretted. It didn't worth my stress for them because you always find better ones. I know everybody knows you like him and that's pressuring, but try not to let that change the way you are, be normal and back off if you are acting obsessed, guys feel like they can "fly" when they know a girl is tripping all over him, so STAY cool.

You need to get out of the church picnic environment. Besides, who cares if they know you like him? You're too young for anything serious, but not too young to date a little.

Hi, how come u dont want to date until your 18? I think you should ask ths guy out, even if its just a friends and maybe it will turn into a relationship. You dont have 2 have sex or anything like that until ur 18 if thats what ur most worried about.
