Im 14 and am going to a ball next week...one of my boy friends said he will dance with me on the slow songs because theres a few of us just going as a group of mates...but the thing is ive never slow danced before and worried I might do something wrong! Any ideas?

The boy will usually lead. Just let him put his hands on your waist and you put yours on his shoulders. Simply follow his lead. It's very easy and enjoyable. You will love it.

really it should come naturally. let the guy lead. theres a ball in my school in a couple of days aswel and im guessing some people will feel the same way as you. honestly the dance will go well aslong as you have fun and let it go the way it wants to, if it goes bad kust tell the guy that you have 2 left feet and couldnt dance to save your life, if hes your mate hell just laf it off. gud luck

Don't look down to see what your feet are doing. Rule of thumb, the guy leads, so just follow his feet. You'll catch on. Have a great time!!!! :)

well the girl puts her arms around the guys neck and the guy places his arms on the gals waist and you just rock from side to side dont worry no-one will laugh at you

i think u should watch what the others are doing then just copy but if your nervous try not to show it becuase it will come out in ur dancing! and try not to step pn his feet be very careful!
