My ex and I were only together for a few months but our relationship was very intense and we just instantly "clicked." He hadn't been single for long when I met him, so I realised I was his rebound. He kind of ended it and I was gutted.

A few weeks ago, I saw him in a bar. The chemistry between us was unreal. He obviously felt it too as we were chatting like old times, then he asked me to contact him. I couldn't believe it, but then I couldn't ignore his body language or the way he kept looking at me. I had butterflies in my stomach.

He was out with a group. I could sense one of the girls liked him as she kept glancing at him, but he stayed focused on me. When he rejoined the group, he didn't behave that way with anyone else. My friends said he kept looking over at me.

We still get on so well & are obviously very attracted to each other, so why would he ask me to text him then ignore me? I only asked how he was and said I was glad we'd chatted that night! What's going on?

By the way, he's a nice guy who was hurt by his ex so his confidence has taken a knock. He's not a player!

he is hurt...men are men...most of them are not showy with what they really feel, more at ease to be silent, they will talk to you if youre gonna talk to them but it doesnt mean they are ignoring you or at something...understand them as what you wanna be understood...feeling is still there but he also needs to overcome the result of the broken realtionship.

Maybe it's an 'out of site, out of mind' sort of thing. When he saw you, he remembered all the good times, etc. But as soon as he was away from you, those feelings were not so strong so maybe he second guessed his request of you contacting him.

Either that or he didn't get your txt :-) Give him a call....if he is still acting a bit cold, forget him and don't look back. Life's too short to play games.....

Sounds like the drink was probably talking and now he`s thinking s***. Or he`s trying you out, see if you`re still interested. Now he knows you obviously are - but he so obviously isn`t - forget him. If he had been serious he would have text or rung you wouldn`t he ? He sounds like a well practised flirt.

The way I see it, he must be afraid of getting hurt again. Give him some time for him to get his confidence back. He might like you, but again, it has not been long since all happened in his life.

I am sure he'll come to you..... give him time and space.

Good luck!

he was being polite. Dont text him he really sounds like a player. Honestly, I went on a date with a guy very much like him. I still fancy him and would love one more night with him, but in reality, he's just a player. (dont defend him, he is playing you)
Let him go.....sorry

I would just wait and see what happens....if you ignore him it will be better for you.
If he enjoyed himself as much as you did the other night and missed what you had, trust me he will be in touch!!!

I personally would send him one last text saying sorry i text u, wont happen again! no kisses or nothing. Bet you et a reply.
Good luck girl!!!
