More than 331 days is too soon, as most airlines will not have their fares available that far out.

It's never too soon to book a flight, provided you are sure of the flight you want to take!

If you are even 1% unsure if you will be traveling then that is too soon because you will have bought a non-changeable and non-refundable (but cheaper) ticket, otherwise, the sooner the cheaper/better. In terms of getting your frequent flyer miles, the later the better becuase you pay full fare.

It's never too soon, b/c as the days and weeks go by the price will increase dramatically...
