I've never used programs like those. I know what they do but not exactly. Is it possible it could have been (I don't know the exact terms) But like attached to a virus or whatever from a third party. And if it was him can he access what I'm typing right now if he wanted to from like his home computer? I found them through a virus scanner from msn but the program couldn't get rid of them and I can't find them. I don't know what to do. How do I find and get rid of the keyloggers?

go to the exact source of the keyloggers (Ex. C:\Programfiles\key) and delete them.

there are Meany free programs out there that can remove them for you thou, i recommend windows defender, its one of the best free ones out there.

and, it is possible that he put it there. and if he did, depending on his settings, he could see everything you type, or just things like passwords, address (Private things).

First, turn off System Restore. Then go to and download Hitman Pro, a free program which installs several excellent free and free-to-try antispyware programs. Let it update and run the scans in Safe Mode. That should eliminate both of those keyloggers. After rebooting into normal mode you can turn System Restore back on. Then go to and download Hijackthis and run it using the "Scan and Save Logfile" option. You can then post the hijackthis.log to the hijackthis forum on castlecops.com or tomcoyote.com, or email it to me, and we can tell you if there's any malware remaining.

Very well possible he could have put them there, does he seem to know about stuff that you don't think he should???? I have included links to the support pages below.. I would also run some additional AV and spyware programs as well... Just in case...
