How may I start Vista ultimate aero?

Hello dear answerers, I've downloaded a copy(genuine) of WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE edition. The prob is that after installatin I didn't activate for just 2 dayz. Till then AERO wasn't started(as happens in unactivated copies). After activation too, and having the hardware reqisites fulfilled too, I cant have aero working. Is there a solution.....

Make sure that the color is set to 32 bit, the monitor refresh rate is higher than 10 hertz, the theme is set to Windows Vista, the color scheme is set to Windows Aero, and window frame transparency is on.
