If Listerine is a mouthwash why to people use it to clean their faces?

People also use toothpaste. There are certain ingredients that really help acne. i've tried it before and it really works!

I didn't know anyone did that, but I know why: Listerine is antiseptic/antibacterial. People who put it on their face probably found that it helps kill acne-causing bacteria.

ive never heard that, but it would make sense since it has alcohol in it and alcohol can clear up acne. But too much alcohol will dry out your skin.

Well... here in Jamaica people 'bleach' (meaning adding sudstances to their skin to make their skin color lighter) a lot and it is sometimes used as a bleaching agent
