have your Mom control your dogs food for starters. This will instill your Mom as dominant over your dog without challenging it .
Have your Mom also work with giving your dog simple commands such as sit,then have your Mom reward your dog with a treat for following her command. It's most important that your Mom not show fear around your dog to make any of this training work correctly though. It's things are getting daangerous,consult a certified behaviorist immediately.

Your dog must feel threatened. It also sounds like your dog is not properly trained. A doberman is a bread, that if not not properly trained, can become a liability. Try buying a choker chain or a swift smack to the nose with a news paper. Sit the dog down in front of you mom and if it makes any threatening movements or advances, give it the proper discipline until it stops.
I know this sounds a bit harsh, but given the nature and purpose of the dog, this kind of harsh discipline is needed.

Get rid of your mom.....just kidding! For real, your mom must be giving the dog some negative vibes. Not on purpose , some dogs don't take well to some people. Keep the dog away from your mom....you never know, he may really hurt her one of these days. You can always get another dog, but you can't get another mom.

Do not know _ We have a Blue Healer ROT mix since 9 wks. old, Our grad children and every one played with her as a puppy,she is now 3 yrs. old and does not like anyone,except my wife and I. We can do anything from check her teeth to doctor her, even when I take her to vet or out I have to muzzle her for safety.If you find out let me know please.
