other people are right there is noway of getting limewire to download faster its the matter of your internet..however when i 1st had limewire there was a Limewire accelerator which was useful it somewhat sepd up the downloads and it accelerated limewire pretty well but other then that there is no way else to do it

Upgrade to Limewire pro. It will cost you, but you'll get results. Also, reducing the number of downloads can improve it a bit. You can get faster broadband too.
