1) Have some layers, it gives it more volume.
2) When drying, hang your head upsidedown and dry.
3) Put some volumiser/mousse in it.
4) Plait your hair into 3-8 sections after you've washed it and sleep with them over night, take them out and gently comb in the morning.
5) Use some volumising shampoo.
6) Buy some curling tongs and use them to create cute waves.

As you can see, there are loads of possibilites..
Good luck!
Lorna

k i have the very same problem and i found a product that works really well its Alterna they have a hair thickening product that you put in your hair while wet and they also have a root booster which smells amazing and works great i put those two on and flip my head upside down blow dry and then pick through it and then flip my head upside down again and lightly spray a very strong hairspray throughout hair..... make sure your hair is completely dry before styling cuz it will go flat in no time...also when getting your hair cut ask them to "razor your roots" so that when you rat it it will stay 1000 times better.

blow dry your hair upside down, 5 minutes after you shower (keep it a towel before taking it out to dry it)

dry your roots, but not for too long. then do whatever else you wanna do... if you wanna dry it straight be sure to pin up the top of your hair on the top of your head and doing the bottom sections first (starting from the back parts and working your way forward).

if you want to have it curly, use a diffuser and dry your hair upside down! and if youre doing a straight on top hairstyle, dry your hair with a round brush and (very gently) pull your brush upward and dry like that.. but not for too long or it will lose volume

Blowdry your hair with your head flipped over, and try products such as Root Boost by Catwalk or Superstar by Bed Head.

sunsilk
its the yellow bottle
i dont use it because my hair is the opposite but it is suppossed to work. you could also dry your hair with your head upside down. also if you flip your head over and spray hairspray in your hair, then flip your head back over and lightly brush your hair out that should help. i hope that helps!

Try Bumble and Bumble hair powder. Match it to your hair. It will thicken up where you need it. Just be carefull not to spray on your scalp, it will show.
