I am just curious, nothing to hide but can an officer find out everything about me? This guy used to be into detective work and now is a policeman...I am curious if they all do survelience on a person they are seeing? What possible info do they have access to?

Well, his line of work has taught him to be intuitive, and he shouldn't use the force's data to look up something for personal reasons, but if you're someone who's got something to hide, then don't even bother getting in a relationship w/this guy.

lol ~ ok, I know you say you have nothing to hide but it sounds a bit shady. To be honest, anyone can find out almost everything about you regardless of whether they are a cop or not. The internet has made privacy a thing of the past.
I also do not think cops put their dates on surveillance....... have you been watching too much Law & Order? ok, ok...I'm just kidding! :-) If you have nothing to hide, it doesn't really matter, right?

Legally , no.. Actually, yes.. Legally he cant look into anything without valid cause to do so. But technically anyone can pull a criminal or credit check on anyone else if they have the right information and the means to do so.

They can find out about your backgroung and if they really want to know they can investigate just about everything else. Me personally I would say DONT date a cop its to much extra bull **** to deal with

Well I guess they can find out almost anything about you but if he's dating you he shouldn't be snooping around stuff that you dont' want to tell him.
