If you are serious about Home schooling, you need to have your parents approval. Do a little research first and be ready to show them how it can work. Start at www.hslda.org to find out what you need to do in order to stay within the law for your state. You will also have to consider who will keep you accountable and how you will get the tougher classes you may need. We are part of a home school Co op here and I have tons of support. Check at local churches, they usually can help or refer you.

You get out of education what you put in, keep that in mind. The pros to homeschooling are you will have more free time and you can study subjects that will advance you in the real world. Don't worry about socialization, my kids are involved in tons of activities and sports and in the community and have good friends. They keep me busy running here and there.
Good Luck

I am home schooled --always have been-- so I don't know if this is a completely bland statement, but by the people I personally l know who go to public school, and the way they feel about it, I'd be so bold to say that if anything it will be an improvement. The extra time alone is great for me; I get to learn things I want to--along with the basics--; It's a lot more flexible then regular school so that means more time for social activity's (not less like some people may think); and if you want to, you'd have enough time for a job (even babysitting) so you can do even more of what you want/need to do.

No. You can easily catch up and very often have done more than you realize when you actually sit down and add it up. Also there's no such thing as a bad attendance record at home! Your schedule revolves around LIFE

Homeschooling is a bad idea. not only does it prohibit you socially but it will develop and contribute to your already lazy attitude. Life does not get any easier, your setting yourself u to fail. I know getting up early sucks but get used to it, you will have to continue getting early in college and at work, pretty much every day of your life. Short cuts only lead to dead end. Get you butt to school everyday. Get a tutor to help you catch up on what you missed and go to summer school so you can graduate with all your friends. High school is the best time of you rlife to join sports clubs and make new friends. Dont let your own lack of motivation and laziness be prohibitng you from experienceing these things in your life. Do you want to look back when your 30 and regret missing your proim and homecoming, get out there and strat experiencing life. Every day is a struggle so be prepared~!!
