I dated his brother back when I was a sophomore/junior in high school, like 12 years ago. But now, some how, I've found myself dating him. I don't have any feelings for his brother whatsoever but whenever I'm with him, I keep thinking..."I dated your brother". I don't believe he cares too much about the past but I can't figure out why I keep coming back to that one thing. Advice?

lol - I guess it just feels sort of weird. I wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't seem to bother them. Just focus on this new relationship and put the other thoughts where they belong.....in the past.

I have been there, and it didn't work out for me. My first relationship with the one brother got a little serious and I was rather close with his family, then a few years later his brother was interested, and I was rather interested in him, but it was just too weird. Even though you don't think that they care, they really do, they don't want to think about what you did with their brother. It was just too weird for me too because of his family and seeing the first brother when I was with the second. I wouldn't recommend this, it is just an all around situation for all parties involved.

Well, if you really like him...I would forget about the whole brother thing. I'm sure the longer you two are with eachother that it will fade. It was 12 years ago! Enjoy him and have fun!
