I have a 6month old boxer puppy that will not go to the bathroom outside but loves to inside. He will not bark to go outside or srach at the door to go out he will just squat where he is and go. I have taken the boundry spray stuff to everything and he will still go where ever he is. I have put him in a cage to see if he will bark to go outside and nothing he just goes in the cage. HELP I don't know if I need to take him in to the vet to see it he has health issues.

I can't believe you allow him to poop inside your house. If you take him outside he will go outside, praise him when he does. I hope you learn your lesson.

Puppies want to be with their people so you need to take him outside and stay there together until he goes. If it takes an hour then it takes an hour.

The whole idea of crate training is to get your puppy on a schedule and keep him from soiling inside your home. Consistency on your part will be a big help for your pup.

Watch him carefully and take him outside when you know he needs to go. Times like right after he eats, gets up, etc.
You want to get him outside and to do his business so you can give him lots of praise and let him know that this pleases you.

The problem now is that he's developed bad behaviors and thinks it's ok to go inside your home. Pottying in the house needs to stop and to do that means confinement in his crate unless you physically have both eyes on him. No more accidents in the house should be allowed.

crate training is the answer
you get a dog crate
you put him in it...he can come out to play or anything supervised but
he is to be taken out of crate and directly put outside first
he is to be in crate all night(puppies have to be let out once in the middle of night do to smaller and not fully developed bladder)
the door to crate is to be left open when he is not in it(this is so it becomes a place of comfort not punishment)
the crate is for him and his towel or blanket only!( NO food or water in crate)
some people think it is cruel but it works
it may take about 1-1 1/2 mths. to get him trained
after training (and he is going outside to pee and poop on a regular basis) you will still have the crate open to him
he will use it as a bed type area during the day( to nap onhis own accord)
you should still close him in it at night for about 1 yr
by then he will be a good dog and can sleep where he wants most animals will not poop where they sleep
at the begining (and this is not uncommon)if he goes to the bathroom in crate or on the floor say" no bad dog" and take him outside
good luck ! don't give up ! and you do need to stick it out for the whole 1-1 1/2 months
P.S. he is to be in crate when you go out
he can stay in there for up to 8 hours as an adult or up to 3-4 as a puppy... this is the ONLY time there is water allowed in crate for obvious reasons

When you feed and water your puppy immediately take outside and stay or leave for a while she will learn because they almost always have to go potty just after eating. We did this with our Blue Heeler from time she was 9 wks. old and she has never gone to potty in house.
Good Luck. Since your dog is older it may take longer to train as puppy has now formed habit of going where it pleases.

There are several times that a dog is likely to have to go to the bathroom - upon waking, after eating and after physical activity. The key to housetraining is to bring them out at these times. When your dog does his business outside, reward him and make alot of him. When he does his business inside, try to catch him and drag him outside. Even if you can't interrupt him, take him outside so that he gets an idea. 6 months is a hard time. My dog had a housetraining relapse at this age. You may also want to consult your vet, if you think that there may be an underlying health problem.

I found this by accident. Next time he goes, clean it and then put his bed next to it.

I kept my pup in the kitchen, she went by the door(only open space). When I did this, broke her one day. dont know if you'll have the same luck, she was the smartest dog i ever had.
