yes you can.
A CAT scan is essentially a lot of X Rays. The metal plate will deflect the XRays, so the image in that area will not be so good due to 'artefact'. So if the scan was of you leg, or of your pelvis and the plate was high up in the leg, it may make the scan slightly difficult to read.
An MRI scan invloves a big magnet, and it is this that is a problem with metalwork.

A Cat scan yes, but not an MRI as an MRI will pull at any kind of metal that is in your body which is why they ask you if you are wearing any jewelry or anything before you go in. (PS-they will ask you this in your forms as well) Good luck!

If your scan doesn't go to the leg, then usually you can. Still, I'd tell your oncologist about the plate and let him decide; it's his living to know these things.

Just ask your doctor, and be sure to tell the people before your scan.

yes, it just will show up as a beg white patch on the radiograph. It is MRIs which use powerful magnets that you cannot get.

Yes, just make sure to tell them - radiologists deal with that stuff all the time.
