to the left in the Control Panel you should see "Switch to classic view" or something like that. Click it

It's actually a really thing to do. I'm assuming you have it set to appear as it did in the previous versions of Windows. On the sidebar (the menus on the left) there will be a button located under the control panel menu. If you have it set to look like the older versions click "Switch to Category View" if you have it set to how it is in XP click "Switch to Classic View".

On the left hand side there when you open the control panel it says switch to classic view. That way you'll have the older view of the control panel with the old icons instead of pick a task.

If you click on control panel it should open a window. You want to look to the left top of the screen. It should say "Switch to category view" or "Switch to Classic View". That should do it...

you should be able to hit switch to catagory view on the left in the control panel

precise click on your individual pc. then click residences. then there's a drop down bar that maximum in all likelihood says "my contemporary topic." it is going to possibly no longer so do no longer place self assurance in that. so then the between the topmost recommendations is "domicile windows XP" click on that then click "save on with" then click "ok"

on the top left hand side is a button that would say switch to classic/switch to catagory
click on it
