You are so shallow that you would break up with someone because of this? Wow......that is really cruel. Get over it. If you were happy before, it should make no difference. It will be an adjustment and it doesn't have to change the relationship unless you let it.

One of my best friends only has one arm. I've never wanted to date him, but I know that the only way to be friends is if you don't care that they have one arm. Don't be awkward about it. Don't feel like you can't say certain things (like "i'd rather cut my arm off") Just be the same and so will they. It's not a big deal. It's only an apendage.

u shouldnt judge a book by its cover. its not his faule only having one arm doesnt mean that he or she is a different person he or she is exactually the same i would never them him or say anything about it i would be understanding and helpful in any way possible its so stupid how people judge people by apperance these days its not there fault a person who is ugly just might be the one for u she or he could like everything u do and into the same things every one is the same on the inside looks and accidents people have should never affect the way people look at them as a whole

I would be there for her and would not change anything in the relation except the fact that I will be there for her even more to help her with her disability, and show her how she can be perfectly normal even without an arm.
Whoever answer that would leave him/her is an idiot and do not deserve to be in any kind of relation. A perfect self centered jerk if you ask me.

I honestly do not believe it would affect how I feel about her, mainly b/c it is her soul that makes her beautiful and not just her looks, and only the superficial would dump someone that had an arm lost due to some accident, ect.

i wouldnt say anything i would just deal with the situation, and no i wouldnt break up with him just because he lost an arm, i still treat him the same way. alot of things might change because he wouldnt like that his arm gone and that he will never be the same anymore.

Be kind loving and supportive. If you would even consider ending the relationship over an amputation then you are way to selfish to be in a comitted relationship with anyone.

I wouldn't break up. But it would strain things as they get used to living without the other arm.

If I loved my b/f the absence of a limb would be a challenge due to others perception more than my own. I'd stay put, they still may be the one, the next may be psycho ! lol

I dont think you should just judge them on only having one arm. just because of the missing limb doesnt mean that they are a bad person. and i dont think it will change the relationship too much, besides having something extra to talk about.
