God has not abandoned you! I have been through a divorce as well, and I prayed, fasted and lost nearly 20 pounds. He didn't stop the process. At one point though, I felt as if He was telling me that at last I understood a bit of how He felt - every human being who has ever lived (except Jesus!) has given God the walking papers at one point or another.
Faith can eventually grow into a dogged determination that will press on regardless of feelings or circumstances. This sounds a bit like where you are right now. Remember, God has things under control whether we feel like it or not. Stay in close fellowship with other believers and make a full confession with someone you trust, not just the Lord. Tell the Lord everything you feel, including your feelings of abandonment. Lean closely upon the psalms as there is a lot of comfort for the discouraged. God bless and keep you!
In Christ,
Tom

To paraphrase a great quote-
Happiness is not the lack of adversity in life, but rather how you deal with life's challenges.
Do you really need an imaginary supernatural diety to make you happy? My three year old needs her teddy bear, but I'm guessing that you're a bit beyond that. Perhaps when you were younger, 'knowing god' gave you a warm and comfortable feeling. Now that you're older and wiser, perhaps you'll realize that your life is entirely up to you- not some fictitious god.

I'm sorry about your troubles.
I agree with vinslave. Sometimes talking it out is the best way to let go.
I also agree with Phoenix. You have to live every day and make it count. When I am down, I make myself do things that I usually enjoy. I'll go the art museum, or to the library, or a concert or play. I enjoy the arts. If you enjoy church, go there. Just do whatever you can to put yourself out there and you'll find some happiness.

I don't know about you, but I do something that takes a lot of physical demand. Clean the house like a mad person, go outside and dig a whole, walk a couple of miles....
It helps to burn off that mad energy without hurting anyone else.

Satan wants you to feel that way. One of his biggest tools is discouragement. Don't give in and let him have the victory. Try and keep your head up by enduring through whatever tribulation you face. You can't do that alone, so you need God's help. He'll give it to you, just keep praying earnestly and don't give up.

Counseling can help you cope... everybody gets that feeling from time to time, don't beat yourself up about it. Realize that all things pop up for a reason and sometimes you need a little nudge to help you move along in a healthy way...

I just think of how I want my tombstone to read "Enjoyed every minute of it."
Everyday holds opportunity. You just have to accept the challenge. Focus on the potential.
The world is a beautiful place.

I don't get discouraged.
However, you do have great news. You are getting a divorce. That's wonderful. You should celebrate.
