I've heard of the reverse brain drain, which is basically that people are leaving america and going back to their home countries. This is especially true in India.
But to what extent is this happening? How many Indians go back to india each year? And is the number of indians coming to america declining?

a lot of indians in IT sector are going back to india because of the high positions offered to them by the companies there mainly people from the IT sector because of india's immense growth and to that uneducated little twit above me of course u havent been to india so you wouldnt know how it is

If they don't return for about 5 to 7 years, they generally prefer to stay in America. The first 2 to 5 years are quite crucial, when quite a number of them decide to return, and upon return, are fairly "glorified & pampered," back home...Usually, they land up pretty good jobs too, back in India. (THIS ANSWER IS APPLICABLE TO PROFESSIONALS, PLEASE.)

No it isn't declining. In fact last year India became our #2 source of illegal immigrants. I haven't seen statistics on the legal side, though.

Cant prove that by me...we have whole towns yhat are Indian...Indian restaurants everywhere.....
They just go home to drop off the US Dollars and bring a new relative back

i have talked to several who said they went back to India because they did not like it here. it was to fast or to crowded. most of them only come here to make money, learn a trade and take it back to their country. maybe Mexico can learn something from India.

The illgal aliens and legal ones both want to stay in America, England, Austrailia and a few other countries that are good hearted because they can take advantage of those systems currently in place.

Not enough..... they come here and take over hotels, restaurants, and rude to us Americans.... make up prices of hotels which are worth 10.00 a nite.. they ask for 45.00 for the room.....

not true they are parking here India is a freaking pig stye have you ever been there. Its basically hell on earth; people pissing and spitting everywhere. Anyone with a shread of human dignity couldnt live there long.

...I would hope that "every" one (Indian or otherwise) who might be in the U.S.A. illegally, get out, go home and if you want to come here....do it right. (period).
