Do Islamic countries have smaller crime rates than western?

Anyone who has talked with Muslims on more than one occasion, or is familiar with islamic norms, has almost certainly heard over and over, claims of "no crime" among Muslims.

What's even more amazing is how almost every single muslim you met will cite you supposed American crime statistics. Even Muslim children are readily prepared with all this numbers. Why is that?

Its almost as if, most of Islamic education has nothing to do with islam itself, but instead constitutes western hate propaganda.

"Did you know that a childs lunch money is stolen every 5.000129 seconds!!!!!!". Any crime stat can sound alarming when presented to stupid people with lots of islamic hatred.

Why do they never compare these manufactured rates to those of islamic countries? The reason is...because no one knows them!!!! Islamic countries have no transparency!!

Think of the absurdity here...muslims in essence bash america for its honesty...its forthrightness and willingness to publish information that helps identify and solve problems.

How do we know whether x amount of theft is bad or good? Its the classic numbers fallacy...which is the problem...muslims almost entirely lack any ability to do rational analysis.

Here's why there may be lower crime rates in Islamic countries (I don't know if that is a fact). In many Islamic countries, such as Saudi Arabia practice Sharia law, or law based on the Koran. Based on such interpretations of Islamic law, you can still be publicly beheaded for minor crimes. You can have your hands cut off for stealing. But there are some things that should be considered crimes, but are supposedly allowed by the Koran. For instance, in Morocco, a man is allowed to beat his wife based on Sharia law. A judge in Germany recently did not allow a woman to divorce her husband when he was beating her. Why? They were married in Morocco, and law there states that a man may beat his wife. Because of some incredibly harsh punsihments and some things that arent considered crimes, crime rates may be lower in Islamic countries.

I think they do have lower crime rates out of fear. It didn't stop them from looting everything when we first invaded their country. Yes, there is much propaganda against the United States there. It's a brainwashing program.

Right now, they don't think we've helped them at all. We've torn up their country, their families, and their way of life. Of course, it wasn't good to begin with, but we have created hardships there and bitterness because their family members are being killed. Not necessarily by us, but that doesn't matter to them. We are the cause.

I don't believe theft is a good thing in any culture. Muslims have been trained to disregard rationality, because it pollutes their religion.

Of course. They treat criminals like criminal instead of victims in the US. The liberals have turned evil into good and good into evil. They care more about the life of a murderer than the murderers victim....that is of course until on of their beloved in murdered.
