People I know well, or acquaintances?

Those who don't know me well probably think that I'm a know-it-all. They probably also think that I'm a bit conceited. I've also been told by MANY different people, including strangers, that I have EXCELLENT taste in clothes. This is what I've gathered.

Those who DO know me well know that I'm loyal, kind, somewhat intelligent (depending on the subject, of course), scatter-brained, and fairly cultured. They perceive that I have a VERY dry, sarcastic sense of humor. And I can be a little conceited about some things, but I try to be humble. I'm very proud of that.

My husband says I'm quirky. He's probably right.

I think most of us wants to be likable, but that is not always possible. You can't pretend to be someone else. Once I establish a conversation, I know I am pleasant to be around because I do not try to change anybody, I am not selling them anything (that could be really annoy for many), and I have a good sense of humor. I don't worry if someone doesn't like me. Sometimes I just wonder what could I have done to offend them?, but I do not loose my sleep over that. My grandma always said that you can't possible taste sweet in every body's mouth.

I think it is different based on who the person is making the assessment. On average I think most would say I am honest, intelligent, opinionated, generous and polite. It doesn't really matter what people think of me though so long as they accept the fact that I am who I am no matter what anyone thinks. If they respect my right to be myself they will always receive the same consideration in return.

My first concern is how does God perceive me presently; second is how others perceive me. I suspect right now, most others may not perceive me highly on spiritual matters. They seem to have a popularity contest, which I do not win presently.

People are afraid of me at first...when they meet me in person. I stutter frighteningly and freak people out. Once I let someone get to know me...I appear very open and accepting, most likely because I have always wanted to be:) It shouldn't matter but somehow it does in the back of ones mind. Im comfortable with who I am and hope that shines through.

People think I'm a rude, crude, narrow-minded opinionated *sshole. Except for that last descriptive word, I'm all of the above.

that i am a killer because of my faith. my faith is Islam. and when ppl hear Muslim or Islam they automaticlly think i'm a terrorists. I CARE to get the message out and argue that there is a non violent side to Islam. I CARE to reach out to those who don't understand. I DON'T CARE to change their faith. I DON'T CARE to kill them for not being Muslim. and I DON'T CARE of what they personally think of me as a person. I JUST CARE THAT THEY UNDERSTAND THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS AS THEY SEEM. the media, and the terrorist, trolls who push the misunderstand all work together thriving on Islam being a killing religion. well what I CARE to point out Islam has been framed. by it's own people. terrorists. I CARE to point out that these terrorists have no right to even claim to be Muslim. these terrorists don't even deserve to say the name of Allah. these terrorists don't even deserve to be free. one day God will take care of even them. and won't that be the day!
