This one is quick, easy and delicious:
QUICK AND EASY APPLE CRUMBLE PIE
1 frozen pie crust
6 to 7 tart apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
CRUMBLE TOPPING:
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firm butter
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Do not peel apples. Cut into slices approximately 1/2 inch thick. Put slices in crust. Stir together sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Sprinkle over apples. Top with crumble topping. Bake 30 to 40 minutes until edge is golden brown and apples are tender.
Can be made in pizza pan or cake pan or pie pan. Does not hold together in slices like regular apple pie.

Ooh, like an apple cobbler/crumble thing? I use canned apples slices.. I think the company that makes them is called Real Fruit or More Fruit.. That way it adds a little moisture to it, plus the apples are seasoned w/ a little cinnamon etc! And for the crumble part, look for recipes that have you smoosh up those Nature Valley granola bars (or something similar) into tiny crumbly pieces. It makes it sooo good!

Apple Crumble
INGREDIENTS
6 large apple - peeled, cored and cubed
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Crumble Topping:
1/4 cup rice flour
3 tablespoons almond meal
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons flaked coconut
1 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Arrange apple pieces in baking dish, sprinkle with sugar, and cinnamon; toss well.
In a bowl, combine the rice flour, almond meal, sugar, and coconut. Cut in butter until mixture is fine and crumbly. Sprinkle topping over apples
Cover, and bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, until the apples have lost their shape. Uncover, and continue to bake until crumble is crisp and golden in color.

Its very easy to make any type of fruit crumble-just toss the fruit with a small amount of sugar. Then make the crumble with flour, brown sugar and oats & butter - mix when it crumbles just put it on top of the fruit--so easy, so good and quick
about 30 mins at 350

yes you can use red apples some Cinnamon and brown sugar and a eggs with the apples the topping should be oatmeal brown sugar and a little butter or margarine to make it crumble bake for 45 mins at 350

APPLE CRUMBLE
1 tub (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Honey Nut Flavor Cream Cheese Spread
64 NILLA Wafers, crushed (about 2-2/3 cups)
8 small apples, peeled, chopped
1/4 cup sugar
4 tsp. ground cinnamon
PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Mix cream cheese spread and wafer crumbs with fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. (Do not overmix.)
TOSS apples with sugar and cinnamon until evenly coated. Spoon into 1-1/2 qt. casserole dish or eight (4-oz.) custard cups; sprinkle with crumb mixture.
BAKE 15 to 20 min. or until crumb topping is lightly browned and apples are tender. Serve warm. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.

Red apples, unless you get a tart crisp one, will be mushy and possibly too sweet. Cortlands or Granny Smith's work best. and be sure to use oats in the topping, gives it a nice crisp finish. do you need a recipe?
