I love home schooling and especially the social aspect!

Get involved in activities in the community around a variety of people you share interests with. In school they just put you in your age group and expect you to figure things out yourself or from other kids your age that may have misguided opinions. You have the opportunity to learn from adults and interact with all types and ages of people.

Good luck!

I love homeschooling!!! I've been homeschooled since kindergarten and it's been the best!!! The social part doesn't affect me because I go to church at least 3 times a week and all my friends are there. My mom has homeschooled me and my brothers for 9 years and still going. It's the best!!

I was homeschooled all the way through my high school graduation, and I wouldn't have changed it for the world! I loved the academic aspect, the flexibility, and the accountability it drives into you. Although I was never starving for friendship since I had plenty of friends through my work, my church, and my neighborhood. So I really can't answer the social question.

I had a lot of friends when I was homeschooled. I loved both aspects.

I love being home-schooled. Now I get to take a step back and see how rude all the kids in school are. Extra activities like a sport or something along those lines has kept me from not getting to know anyone though. wouldn't give it up for anything at all.

Why don't you have a lot of friends? Among the homeschoolers I know, the kids who want a lot of friends do lots of stuff to have a lot of friends. Those who don't want a lot of friends just hang out with one or two.

Homeschooling is no reason to not have friends. Get out and do stuff!

haha, my kids are not crazy about the school part, but love the social part. It drives them nuts that I insist they learn, because it gets in the way of them having fun with their friends.
