My ears feel like they are stopped up, and I don't know if it is from taking Methodone. I have chronic pain that is why the Doc gave it to me. Also, my left knee (inside knee cap) has been hurtin with anything I do. This just started Sat. nite. I can't bend it too much or go up/down steps without sever pain. What could be the cause of this. I think I have some type of arthritis* because of all this pain. I am seeing a Long Term Pain Mangement Doctor for my right hip and had an injection this month (nerve blocker) in my lower back..grrr ..I am 45 and feel like I am falling to pieces.
Only serious answers please. I don't need any smart remarks from anyone. This is serious to me. Thank you, and GOD bless.

I thought it might be sinus or allergies. I cough up flym* all the time. I am congested too, at times. Thank you for the info..I will tell my doctor. I have an appt. the 2nd.

Well I have heard that opiates can cause you to go deaf but now the Methadone I dont know. I would let the doc know for sure. Now the knee, this could just be patela femoral syndrome if you dont have any other diagnoses or injury recently. Also this could be part of your back pain shooting down to your knee or since you are probably favoring your back you are using your knee differently. had the opposite problme with my knee causing back pain or maybe that is your case. Cause and effect is tricky.

I haven't heard of any side effects like what you're describing involving you ear. I stopped taking Methadone because I seemed to have been getting bad side effects, tho now I'm not so sure it was from that since I still get them while taking something else.

Ask your doctor about it but it's probably something unrelated like congestion, or allergies.
