nope. Table scraps are ok if they are meats and or veggies and in moderations but breads, cereals, sweets, junk food are very bad.

A little now and then won't hurt. But some dogs will become obstinate and won't eat their regular food after they've gotten a taste of yummy table scraps. If that describes your dog, best not to give it any table scraps at all.

Dogs are more of a scavenger than say a cat which can be darn finicky. When i was growing up in central Canadian forest and lake region the dogs almost ate nothing but scraps or garbage. We always had good meat from the carcass of a moose or deer. Our dogs ate good. These days people depend on manufactured food and god only knows what is in it. Anyway go ahead feed your dog scraps just stay away from sweets and or salty stuff. Keep it as natural as you can. Have fun with your pet and good luck. P.S scraps should be used for training.

You don't want a dog to get used to cereal or table scraps. They won't accept dog food after that. Its not healthy for a dog at all. Stick to feeding him dog food.

Table scraps must only consist of meat and vegetables and should be given in the dogs bowl! Do NOT give onions or related foodstuffs as it can make a dog ill! A lot of dogs are unable to digest potatoes properly and fried(chips, crisps etc) is as bad for them as it is for us!
Remember your canine friend deserves to be fed according to HIS needs and should not be used as a dustbin!

In moderation only! Make sure not to feed them from the counter or from the kitchen table, they will learn to beg. Just take those scraps and put them next to, or in their food bowls.

No its not. First of all they are domesticated animals. Your dog can end up with the runs from changing his or her diet. You can also end up with a dog that mooches all the time. My In-Laws had a poodle that they fed from the table and all she did was bark everytime you sat down to eat. I hated going there for meals. So you might want to think about it before you start.
