Best place to stay in north Wales?

What places (cities, hotels,etc.) do you recommend for a couple nights stay in northern Wales? We are looking for somewhere close to attractions, and preferably close to a beach.

Cardiff is powerful. different than for the stadium and the citadel there is St Fagans, certainly one of Europe's extra advantageous outdoors museums. Tecniquest the bay section with a lightboat you may pass to and Penarth for beaches pier and boat journeys in the time of to Devon or as much as Bristol. the vast Pit, the national mining museum not too some distance away.
