...go and get the tattoo darling...just make sure that some future and present guys name isn't secured in it's context otherwise. I hear tattoo removal later on can be quite painfull otherwise....kinda like heartbrake can sometimes be pretty painfull too. Hey babe...you're cute and adorable and I have to say probably pretty darned lucky with most things presently. Try not to get a tattoo you might possibly regret having later...kinda like an old flame here possibly. You're smart and funny though tinker...so use your good mind when you're getting a tattoo babe....cool?

If you are having second thoughts about getting permanent work done, then wait it out.
It's important that you realize tattoos may not be for you, and that you may change your mind about work you've had done in the future. Tattoo removal is a painful and expensive process, and you may be stuck with a tattoo that you no longer love because of it.
Make sure that this tattoo is something that is of great importance to you. Don't use flash or go on a whim --- sit down, think it over, and then, when you're absolutely sure that this is the design for you... consider your options one more time. Whatever you do, don't get something you will end up regretting!
Hope this helps.

If you are having second thoughts you need to wait until you are absolutely positive. Also if you do decide to get one and do not want to regret it years later go with something that has personal meaning and is tasteful, nothing trendy or a year or two from now you will wonder why you got the same thing permanently put on your body that everyone else has. If you are young, think about what you would like to have as a career. You are not going to want something on your neck or arms if you are going to work in the corporate world. And for God's sakes don't get someones name unless it's yours or a VERY close family member.

Hey, Just don't get something silly. DON'T GET YOUR NAME anywhere on your body you will regret that. If you get your name on your body for the rest of your life you'll have people asking you why you have your own name on your skins and is it just in case you lose your mind and forget who you are. Don't get anything off the wall, design your own tattoo. If you can't draw thing of some ideas and the tattoo artist will draw it up for you in no time.
I was say if you want a tattoo get a word or phrase something that you live by like Carpe Diem (Sieze the day in Latin), Live Life, Let Go, Faith, Hope ect....
You could get a word or phrase and put stars or hearts for example around the word. Words are really meaningful and something you will never regret.

If you are having second thoughts then wait longer and think about this choice some more.
There really is no need to rush out and get a tattoo, so take your time finding the right image and take your time making sure this is what you REALLY want to do.
I say, go for it because once its done, you'll love it...but then again, thats my feelings on what I'd do in your shoes.
Edit: Please do not get a temporary tattoo that wears off in 3-7 years, its not possible. Tattoos are either perment or they aren't. And anyone trying to tell you it will work is scamming you.

dont get one unless you are completely sure you wont regret it later. if i got one, id only want it while i was young, and i could only make a decision based on the near future, not my whole life. ive heard you can get semi permanant tatoos that last about 5 years because the needle doesnt penetrate as deeply into your skin. im guessin this would also be less painful! google it.
i just got this off the internet
'Semi – Permanent Tattoo’s / Make - Up & Body Piercing
These tattoo's only last 3 - 7 years. They are applied with a semi - permanent tattooing pen which using the correct technique only penetrates the first two to three layers of skin. as the skin naturally exfoliates the tattoo fades, and also the pigments used have ingredients in them that fade over a period of time. The speed at which they fade is dependant on skin type and environment so they can simply fade away or they can be re - touched up if one decides to keep the tattoo longer.'
also some one said get one on your ankle, but i really dont trecomend that becuause its a part of your body that always shows, even when your eighty and wearing long skirts in summer, you'll still be able to see your ankles!

You should NEVER do anything permanent to yourself or to your life if you have second thoughts. I suppose tattooes aren't nearly as "permanent" as they used to be, but still applied to a part of your body and it doesn' t wash off. If you decide to get a tattoo, and you're still afraid you may regret it, try getting it in a place that won't show, or sag when you're older. Also, be very choosy with your pick of a tattoo. Get something special and meaningful to you. Have your thoughts, picks, etc. done before going to the artist, and be safe.

Wait a while longer and if you decide you still want it go for it. But if you are doubting it do not do it right now because you might end up regretting it. So give yourself a few months and if you keep going back to that one design then you should go for it :) Hope this helps

If you're having second thoughts, don't get it. Tattoos are for life, so you need to be sure it's what you want. Wait a while, if you still want it, then go for it.

if you're not sure about it then don't get it. if you are already thinking you may regret it later then you probably will. never get a tattoo unless you are 100% sure that you want it and have thought it out.
