I like bark, or bark mulch. *Not* redwood, but fir works great. It makes picking up poop easy, and eliminates odor..It is a natural pest repellent, so fleas and flies don't like it. It is also cheap! and goes a long way..You will find it at Walmart or rite-Aid, or any garden center. One bag of mulch will cover a 300 sq foot area.
Our local playgrounds use (large sized) wood chips. they are safe enough for pre-schoolers, and would make a durable ground cover.

decrease back contained in the 50's there became no longer the comparable "see it, want it & purchase it" attitude in spite of the ability of the person to combine parenting a baby & education a domestic dog. right this moment a poorly bred toy puppy can particularly be offered by utilising everyone with funds of their wallet, who would have questionable parenting skills & then fails to supervise the interaction between the dogs & baby. no longer all people must be moms and dads & no longer all moms and dads have the ability to develop a tiny domestic dog, with a superb skeletal shape, which left contained in the palms of a youthful baby who treats it like a toy, would reason actual harm or the youngster must be bitten. Any dogs would nip in defence, if its pushed to its threshold, by way of fact the person did no longer step in & administration the habit of the youngster. i'd by no ability say an absolute no, it might matter on no remember if the guy became a in charge determine, who've made a reasoned determination to purchase a toy breed, & would save the puppy secure from the youngster & the youngster secure from the puppy. in keeping with the remark that that's BS to hold the opinion some breeds are actually not suited to amateur dogs running shoes, i'd disagree. some breeds won't cut back an proprietor any slack in the event that they foul up on offering it with the management, barriers, obedience education, some variety of concern to artwork its innovations & socialization it ought to have - & it’s the dogs that in the time of many cases will pay the fee.
