i'm 14 and i was wondering if its good to mmake yourslef sick to loose weight, does it work becuase i have been doing this after dinner for 2 days now and i feel a little thinner?

That's called Belemia and it's just as serious if not worse than Anerexia, the puke takes the enamal off ur teeth making it easier for them to rott (EWWW) Look it's not good just excercise and eat healthy! try these websites for help/ info!

If you want to tone certian places on ur body there are planty of stretches that you can do fast that work really well. I'm rty'n to get a bikini body and I figured out that by doing sit-ups right in the morning I burn tummy fat. C in the morning ur body doesn't have ne energy and it's forced to used stored energy (fat!) Lunges and Wall sits work well for legs. Also incorperating weights in2 sum part of the stretch will only help more


I really hope this helps u I realy wanna lose wieght too, but right now I'm just work'n on eat'n right and excercising as much as possible! (I'm 14 too)

I have been bulimic for 3 years and no it isn't an effecent way of loosing weight, initally it may happen but honestly eating small things throughout the day is much more beneficial and a better way to loose weight. Honestly even though you think your in control now, you soon won't be able to keep anything down without making yourself sick, i beg you to stop now...from someone who has been through it and trying to recover....the mental problems associated with it will devistate you.. you think it wont happen to you but it will...bulimia and any other eating disorder can totally distroy you and its so hard to recover...PLEASE stop now and get help, see your doc, talk to your parents, a friend, school counsellor, anyone but don't become a victim of bulimia! You aren't a little thinner physcially just mentally and then soon enough you wont be thin enough mentally no matter how thin you are physcially and you will beat yourself up over everything. you are only 14, I hate seeing people in the same position as I am and i am deffinately not in the worst case. You don't want your life to revolve around food, which it will if you do this! I don't mean to shout, scare or boss you around in any sense but i am there and wish that I had of never started because my self worth is below the ground and I now have to go see a counsellor and my whole family know andi feel very down and ashamed...don't line urself up for the hurt. Please get help...you may think because you have only done it twice that you don't need it but you do. Confide in you parents, they will support you, or confide in someone you no will....you can be a healthy weight by eating normally! You deserve to be happy, please dont start bulimia....it will consume you!

What your doing is very dangerous. Essentially it's bulimia. The only thing it will make you do is lose water, become dehydrated, malnourished and can actually put you at risk for mini-strokes because of the force of making yourself vomit.
I've battled bulimia on and off for years. It's ruined my stomach. I have ulcers, probably because my stomach lining was weakened and I have to take pills every day just so I can eat normal foods without pain. Every time I eat I get sick to my stomach just because it feels bad to be full, so it's become a real problem. It will also make your face look fatter and swollen, giving you "chipmunk cheeks" if you do it long enough. I've stopped doing it, hoping to lead a healthier life, and already I have more energy and my skin is healthier.
A much better way of losing weight is to go for a 20-30 minute jog every day and limit your intake of fatty, processed foods. It's a lot better on your body to jog even if it makes you out of breath rather than be bulimic. The only thing I changed in my diet is to stay away from the fatty foods and do 30 minutes of cardio a day, along with 30 minutes of floor work (pushups, situps, etc..) and I've lost 9lbs in a HEALTHY way in the past 2 months.
Stop now because it IS an addictive behavior and it will get beyond your control, I know this from experience.

I think you need to stop young lady you are heading for a serious problem. If you feel you need to lose weight see a Doctor who can recommend what you should be doing.
Or just give yourself a good Diet of fresh fruit in the morning. But before you start the morning have a cup of hot water. then 15 minutes later fresh fruit like oranges and a banana and keep drinking good water, have your daily intake of 5 portions of fruit and vegetables (one portion is the size of your cupped hand) and drink at least 2 litters of water a day. you will lose weight if over weight, and also keep healthy

This is not healthy. Of course you feel thinner because you are throwing up your food and nothing is digesting!! But it will not help you in the long run. You need to sit down with your parents or a counselor at school and tell them you want to lose weight and ask for advice on how to do it. Maybe see your physician. Good luck to you.

Actually, it will cause your esophagus to be eroded by your stomach acid, and cause you to GAIN weight.

Not getting regular food causes your body to "Store up" calories for later use. You body thinks you're starving. As a result, the food you do eat will be converted straight into fat instead of muscle or energy.

If you do this long enough, you'll be physically week due to lack of muscle, and most of your body mass will be fat or bone.

To be blunt, you'll look like s**t.

Anorexia isn't much better.

As a bonus, both "diet" schemes cause your hair to become brittle due to lack of protein and your skin to becoame yellow and papery.

Models look "good" on diets like that because you don't see them until after hours in a makeup chair. It takes a long time and a lot of products to cover up the damage malnutrition does to your hair and skin.

its terrible for your health .. please please stop with this, im sure other replies have listed all the dangerous things u can be doing to yourself..
have had an eating disorder myself in the past and it isnt pleasant, discovered i am more attractive healthy and took up a healthier diet and an aerobics class

please find out your BMI, theres lots of calculators you can google to find, if it is unhealthily high then good luck with losing weight in a healthy way :) which includes light exercise and eating ENOUGH of the good foods..

i am sure you are beautiful the way you are anyway, too many people just don't realise it

i concept mine became pierced a concepts back too, yet after it healed, i determined that i really loved it positioned extra back! And it would not seem as a concepts back as I initially concept it became. i could wait a week or so till eventually after the swelling is going down and observe what you imagine of it then. in case you nonetheless are afflicted by technique of it, take it out and enable that one heal and get it re-pierced and teach them precisely the position you opt for it. Or, get a double tongue piercing. solid success!

Hi, DONT DO IT. You will end up with an eating disorder, you must keep healthy, eating a balanced diet. If you must lose weight see your doctor he will advise you.

Nope not good, because it could lead to bulimia or other eating disorders, which in turn, can eventually really harm your health.
